Infrastructures of the Center

Material Resources

From the point of view of the infrastructure, the current Telecommunications Technology Engineering Degree is taught at the Faculty of Computer Science and Telecommunications Engineering (ETSIIT) of the University of Granada, so that it assumes all the services and expenses arising from its maintenance and management. This explains why, in relation with the use and distribution of classrooms, conference rooms and auditoriums, the studies in Telecommunication Technology Engineering depend on the spatial and temporal distribution assigned by the Faculty. So far, there are no problems with the availability of space for theoretical classes, seminars, conferences and congresses, and it is expected they won’t arise in the future. On the other hand, all of these facilities have adequate equipment related to new technologies, which are very necessary to guarantee an adequate development of teaching. ETSIIT classrooms have overhead projectors, slide projectors, projection guns and computers with Internet access. With the implementation of the Degree, it is expected that this dynamics will be maintained and, therefore, there will be no infrastructure problems for theory teaching.

All the teachers' rooms are equipped with computer resources, network access points and individual conditioning air equipment. In general, the Faculty's facilities are subject to intensive use. All teachers can have at their disposal the resources to support teaching as well as the seminars and halls of teaching and cultural activities.

As for the provision of other types of facilities such as study rooms, computer rooms, audio-visual classrooms, reprographic services, cafeteria, university canteen, the students have at their disposal those located in the ETSIIT building.

The infrastructures physically located in ETSIIT and therefore available to the entire center community are briefly listed and described below:

Theory Classrooms
The classrooms where theory classes are developed are well equipped. All of them have a blackboard, overhead projector, projection screen and computer with the necessary software for teaching (Word, PowerPoint, etc.). It is also connected to the network of the University of Granada. The classroom area also has a wifi connection. The ETSIIT also has a slide projector.

All the classrooms are located on the ground floor or the first floor with total accessibility through ramps and/or lifts for disabled people. They are:
